Hello Dr. Shabnam. Testosterone do help in cardiomyopathy. It does not have much role in acute setting but improves the prognosis in long term. Kindly evaluate the liver profile , testosterone level (total and free), SHBG , Thyroid profile , DHEA , Cortisol , VIt B12 , Iron studies. Need to know the current cardiac status.
